The Pre-Sales & Support Engineer role is to coordinate technical pre-sales activities related to company customer base


Major Duties and Responsibilities


·Assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers for better understanding of its requirements.
·Assist and works with Bid Technical Specifications and in collaboration with Systems Engineering Department come out with proposals.
·Assist in the designs and preparation of detailed specifications for different deals and projects and generate Bill of Materials for quotations.
·Assist sales in gathering 3rd party pricing and liaising with 3rd parties, if required.
·Ability to prepare Customer’s presentations and clarifications.
·Explain complex concepts to all audiences including non-technical people and be able to answer all customers’ technical questions either directly, through emails or in RFPs.
·Ability to independently learn and acquire deep knowledge of company products and services, in order to design efficient solutions to customers requirements.
·Coordinate with the sales team in formulating and building up proposal knowledge.
·Transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers and partners via good written, verbal and presentation skills.
·Set-up and operates equipments for relevant customer demos and trade shows.
·Assist sales team in development of formal sales proposals.
·Reports to the Pre-Sales Support Manager/Chief Technology Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Requires a bachelor''s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science.

Experience

At least 2 year of experience and substantial exposure toboth in-house and shared or out-sourced systems, multiple hardware platforms, and integrated information and communications systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Comprehensive knowledge of:
·Equipment and software characteristics of various computer systems and a good understanding of system features and their integration capabilities

Proven skills in:

·Written and verbal communication
·Interpersonal relationship building

Demonstrated ability to:

·Relate to all levels of the user community
·Be a good team player
·Comprehend basic, technical subjects
·Create and motivate behavior change
